The “final” trailer that was unveiled at Comic-Con for Fantastic Four has now been released online for the world.
It starts by showing two of our fantastic quartet as young children, specifically Reed Richards and Ben Grimm. It seems that Richards has designed a machine that teleports… which ought to come in handy later in our story.
Fantastic Four arrives from the director (Josh Trank) that gave us Chronicle and the screenwriter (Simon Kinberg) who just delivered the best X-Men movie of all, X-Men: Days of Future Past. It features Miles Teller as Richards (aka Mr .Fantastic), Michael B. Jordan (who starred in Trank’s Chronicle) as Johnny Storm (The Human Torch), Kate Mara as Sue Storm (The Invisible Woman) and Jamie Bell as Ben Grimm (aka The Thing).
Our villain in this origins story that reboots the franchise for Fox of the Marvel “first family” is Dr. Doom (Toby Kebbell). Fantastic Four also features one of our favorites with Tim Blake Nelson from O Brother, Where Art Thou? as Harvey Elder (The Mole Man).
Look for Fantastic Four on August 7.
