What an original way to make a movie out of the wildly popular Goosebumps books!
The first trailer for the Goosebumps movie, starring Jack Black, has arrived and it shows us one of the more creative ways to bring a beloved book series to life on the silver screen. Black stars as Goosebumps author R.L. Stine, and Dylan Minnette’s Zach Cooper moves next door to the famed author and believes that Stine’s daughter (Odeya Rush) is being held in the house unfairly.
So, he does what many a teenage boy would do… he sneaks in.
That’s a problem. He and his buddy unwillingly release all the monsters from Stine’s book series.
Everyone must work together to contain the problem and get these monsters back into the Goosebumps books before they take over the town and then… beyond!
Amy Ryan, Ken Marino and Jillian Bell also star in the film that hits screens October 16.
