The international trailer for London Has Fallen has landed, thanks to Lionsgate UK. It is quite the teaser as it does just that — teases!
Aaron Eckhart is back as the President of the United States and Gerard Butler returns as the Secret Service agent who saved his life in Olympus Has Fallen.
This time out, they’ve headed to the English capital to pay tribute to the British Prime Minister who has passed away. Suddenly, with the world’s leaders all in attendance, the city comes under attack and Eckhart and Butler must again swing into action to save themselves, and the day.
This first London Has Fallen trailer is well put together because it only gives us a hint of the action and drama, all while establishing how high the stakes are. It also works well due to the fact that its piano-only score is incredibly haunting.
Morgan Freeman also returns from the first film, as do Angela Bassett and Melissa Leo.
