When Paranormal Activity landed in 2007, it was the most unlikely of movie blockbusters. A found footage horror film that was filmed entirely in a north San Diego home showed that not all movie hits had to come from Hollywood.
Since then, the film series has spawned a series of sequels, and even a slight spin-off, Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones.
With the arrival of Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension, it appears we’ve reached the end of the series and all the questions that have been spawned over several films will be answered in one glorious and horrifying conclusion.
The first trailer for Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension has landed to tease the terror.
The final chapter hits theaters in 3D on October 23 and explores what happens when a father (Chris J. Murray) finds a video camera and a box of tapes in the family garage. Soon, the mother (Brit Shaw) and their little girl Leila (Ivy George) begin to see their surroundings in a different light. In fact, the camera can see things that the human eye cannot. Spooked?!
And it will all connect back to the first film and finally give answers to fans of the series who long for a conclusion to all this Paranormal Activity.
