Fatale Trailer: Hilary Swank Wants Michael Ealy to “Stay and Play”

The first teaser trailer for the upcoming dramatic thriller has arrived and it features a police detective on the edge (Hilary Swank) slowly but surely destroying the life of a man who she had a one night stand—Michael Ealy’s sports agent.

If the film reminds of Fatal Attraction, there are worst thrillers to be held up against! Those two actors have been utterly sublime in their entire collective careers and we cannot wait to see these two create some sparks in a film that appears to be a powder keg of betrayal and emotive electricity.

Here’s the synopsis for the freshly debuted film tease:

In this suspenseful and provocative psychological thriller, a successful sports agent, Darren (Ealy), watches his perfect life slowly disappear when he becomes entangled in a police investigation led by a discredited, disgraced, and determined detective (Swank) with whom he had a wild one night stand.

The helmer is Deon Taylor, whose work on Meet the Blacks and Traffik has been solid. Fatale was written by David Loughery, who gave us The Intruder and the greatly underrated Lakeview Terrace.

Try to resist the Fatale when Swank and company land in theaters June 19.
