No Time to Die Trailer: History Isn’t Kind to Men Who Play God

The wait is over, James Bond fans, as the first trailer for No Time to Die has arrived. Director Cary Joji Fukunaga also cowrote the flick that finds Bond (Daniel Craig, in what is now officially his last go-round) coming out of retirement when approached by his old CIA friend Felix (Jeffrey Wright). For what, exactly?

First of all, he meets the new 00 (Lashana Lynch) and doesn’t necessarily hit it off with her. Then, there’s the arrival of a new villain on the scene (played by recent Oscar winner Rami Malek), the presence of an old one, Blofeld (Christoph Waltz) and of course the return of favorites Léa Seydoux, Naomie Harris, Ben Whishaw, Rory Kinnear and Ralph Fiennes (as M).

In the Bond girl department, Lynch and Seydoux are joined by Knives Out breakout star, Ana de Armas. Most importantly, these aren’t your grandfather’s Bond girls, if you’re not careful, they’ll take you for a ride.

No Time to Die lands in theaters on April 8, 2020.
