First Look at the Women of James Cameron’s Terminator Sequel

James Cameron was always looking at the calendar when it comes to the franchise that put him on the cinematic map—Terminator. As of 2019, the rights to the series would return fully to him and it is no surprise that the named-for-now Terminator 6, produced by Cameron, would get green lit. Now, we’ve got our first look at the femme fatales leading the charge with the first released photo from Skydance Productions and Paramount Pictures.

The photo above features the original bad ass of the series, Linda Hamilton’s Sarah Connor, as well as two new characters portrayed by Mackenzie Davis and Natalia Reyes.

The director of the first Deadpool, Tim Miller, is taking the reins of this project that you better believe is influenced heavily by the imagination of Cameron, who has been drooling at the prospect of getting this property back into his creative camp.

We’ve heard that the film will essentially ignore every Terminator that came after Terminator 2: Judgement Day and serve as a true follow-up to the first two flicks.

Gabriel Luna has been cast as a Terminator and of course Arnold Schwarzenegger returns to the role that made him a house hold name. Diego Boneta will also star as the brother of Reyes’ character.

For fans of the Terminator series, circle November 22, 2019 on your calendar because that is when you get to check out the latest in the Terminator world from the man who created it in the first place.
