The latest The King’s Man trailer has landed and above all else, it serves to remind audiences of its interest in the third installment of a series that started with 2014’s Kingsman: The Secret Service and continued with its sequel in 2017, Kingsman: The Golden Circle.
20th Century Studios is readying The King’s Man, a prequel, for release September 18 after being pushed back from its original release date of February 2020. Between the Coronavirus and theaters being shut down, it was unclear when the latest from the formerly known as 20th Century Fox would arrive, or even if it would go to theaters at all.
Since the major theater chains have revealed that they seek to be open for business by mid-to-late July, Disney (who owns the formerly known as Fox studios) felt confident that unveil the new trailer and reveal the new and improved release date.
The King’s Man stars Ralph Fiennes and takes us back to the beginning and showcases how the spy agency got its start.
The film is directed by Matthew Vaughn (who helmed the first two) and joining Fiennes is the always awesome Gemma Arterton, Rhys Ifans, Matthew Goode, Tom Hollander, Harris Dickinson, Daniel Brühl, Djimon Hounsou, and Charles Dance.
