The final trailer for Halloween Kills has arrived and it is stupendous. Jamie Lee Curtis (Laurie Strode) and her daughter Karen (played by Judy Greer) and Laurie’s granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak) was last seen speeding away from their booby-trapped burning home with Michael Meyers stuck inside.
Well, surprise! He survived… and now he’s pissed!
The trailer paints a picture of a knife-wielding killer on the loose and Laurie and her kin realizing that the only way to stop this madman is to end his life—of course, that was something they thought they had done in Halloween. Not so much, it appears.
When the fire department shows up at Laurie’s home, they inadvertently set Michael free and our hell begins anew. But something is at work here and the puzzle that is Michael Meyers and the way he thinks is starting to come together—it may have to do something with his childhood home.
There is a lot to be excited about in this trailer for the film that arrives October 15. One right at the top for this writer is witnessing Laurie struggling with Michael at the end of the teaser trying valiantly to take off his mask. Go Laurie!
