The surprise hit Don’t Breathe found Stephen Lang portraying a blind man whose home is invaded by a group of younger folks who chose the wrong house to invade! Lang is back and looking more badass than ever as Sony Pictures has unveiled the first trailer for Don’t Breathe 2.
Fede Álvarez helmed the first film and he returns this time as co-writer with the sequel’s helmer, Rodo Sayagues.
This time out, Norman Nordstrom (Lang) has moved to a new house that he shares with his daughter—played by Madelyn Grace. Adding a daughter to the landscape ups the ante and gives Nordstrom something more to lose than just his own life—thus raising the stakes exponentially (as a sequel should do!).
Look for Don’t Breathe 2 to bow in cinemas in August 13.
Here’s the synopsis for the sequel, which—thankfully—is quite coy with the deets!
The sequel is set in the years following the initial deadly home invasion, where Norman Nordstrom (Stephen Lang) lives in quiet solace until his past sins catch up to him.
