The Conjuring The Devil Made Me Do It Trailer: I Can See Things Your People Can’t

The first trailer from the next chapter of The Conjuring is here and the devil made them do it! The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It follows Ed and Lorraine Warren (Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga) as they tackle what promises to be one of their most terrifying and horrifying cases yet.

Given what has come before with The Conjuring movies, that is saying something.

The franchise has been so successful that it has spun spin-offs, including The Nun and of course those hellish doll movies Annabelle. This time, we’re solely focused on the Warrens (which is an exceptionally good thing… Wilson and Farmiga are gold together).

John Noble is also back, along with Sarah Catherine Hook, Julian Hillard, Ruairi O’Connor, Paul Wilson, and Charlene Amoia.

This is based on a true story, like every one of The Conjuring stories. But this time out, this might be one that you may have heard of because of its notoriety and how it was a widely covered story that saturated the news.

It involves Arne Johnson, who was the first person in judicial history to claim that demonic possession was what led him to murder.

The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It will land in theaters and HBO Max on the same day, June 4.

Official Synopsis:

The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It reveals a chilling story of terror, murder and unknown evil that shocked even experienced real-life paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren. One of the most sensational cases from their files, it starts with a fight for the soul of a young boy, then takes them beyond anything they’d ever seen before, to mark the first time in U.S. history that a murder suspect would claim demonic possession as a defense.
