The first trailer for the Keira Knightley starring true story Misbehaviour has premiered from Shout! Studios.
The flick follows what happens when the 1970 Miss World competition landed in merry ole England and it was met by massive protests to the competition and its objectifying of women. What’s fascinating and provides a nice dichotomy for the film, the story also chronicles how Miss Grenada was the winner of the competition that year, the first woman of African descent that had won that coveted title.
There are many aspects of the film that are compelling, not the least of which is its cast. Besides Knightley, the flick stars Gugu Mbatha-Raw, who just blew us away in the Apple TV series The Morning Show (which just scored a slew of Emmy nods), as well as Keeley Hawes, Jessie Buckley (who recently rocked our world in Wild Rose), Phyllis Logan, Lesley Manville, Rhys Ifans, and Greg Kinnear.
Misbehaviour is currently scheduled to land in theaters on September 25 and is also set to arrive on VOD at the same time.
