Black Widow Trailer Puts Family First

A brand new Black Widow trailer has landed and even though that first Black Widow trailer was pretty effective, this one literally blows doors.

Scarlett Johansson reprises the role she originated in Iron Man 2 and is joined by her Black Widow family as they are front-and-center in the latest trailer. Natasha Romanoff (Scarlett Johansson) heads back to her homeland and reunites with her sister (played by actress who is everywhere Florence Pugh), mother (Rachel Weisz) and father (David Harbour of Stranger Things fame). The reason appears to be something that is from her past that she must fix. And it is going to take the entire clan to make things right.

The presence of Pugh in this trailer from background player in the first teaser to headline is likely tied to the enormous amount of success the actress has found since she committed to the Black Widow movie. She shined in Fighting with my Family, Midsommar and earned an Oscar nod for Best Supporting Actress for Little Women.

Natasha returns to Russia after joining the Avengers (in this prequel, after all (spoiler!), she died in Endgame) and in the process, we get to meet a new antagonist.

Look for Black Widow to rock our world when it lands in theaters (with William Hurt also starring) on May 1.
