Never thought we’d be excited for an animated cinematic Scooby-Doo movie. But after that first Scoob! trailer teased the touching and surprisingly timely incarnation of the fabled dog’s mysterious journeys, The Movie Mensch is all in.
Now that a second teaser has landed, filmmakers have introduced more of the shaggadelic tale of Scooby, Shaggy, Velma, Daphne and Fred. We also get to meet the iconic Blue Falcon and he’s voiced by a comedic pro in Mark Wahlberg.
More of the story is teased in the latest Scoob! trailer and viewers also get a bit more to fill out the characters than any previous teaser. This latest has firmed up the sense we got from a Amanda Seyfried take on Daphne, Gina Rodriguez as Velma, Zac Efron voices Fred, Will Forte takes on Shaggy (perfect casting!) and Frank Welker provides the voice of Scooby-Doo.
The crew of Mystery Inc. are back at it and we even get a classic character from Hanna-Barbera in Dynomutt (Ken Jeong)!
Look to grab some Scooby Snacks and head to theaters on May 15 to witness Scoob!
