The first trailer has arrived for Christopher Nolan’s Tenet. The mind-bending tease reflects a thriller that will have us guessing, like so many of his movies before—like Inception for one!
Tenet stars Robert Pattinson (The Lighthouse), John David Washington (BlacKkKlansman) and Elizabeth Debicki (Widows) in a story that … well, honestly, we have no idea. The only clue that is given is when Washington’s character awakes and is greeted by, “welcome to the afterlife.” Wait, what?
Good for him! We love it when trailers tease… that is what they are supposed to do! We don’t need plot exposition or character introductions. All we need to know about this trailer is the stunning visuals, the pitch perfect actors doing their thing and a whole pile of mystery that will not and cannot be solved until we see it on the big screen. And even then, I would bet, we will still have more questions!
Tenet lands in theaters July 27, 2020.
