Hustlers follows a group of New York City strippers who decide to take a little something from their Wall Street customers—and they’ll never know what hit ‘em.
The film, directed by Lorene Scafaria, stars Jennifer Lopez, Constance Wu, Lili Reinhart, Keke Palmer, Cardi B and Lizzo as those aforementioned Manhattan strippers who have taken all their going to take from those pushy Wall Street types. Time … to turn the tables.
The final trailer for Hustlers has hit for the September 13 release that promises a heap of sisterhood with its righteousness.
The scam is led by Ramona (Lopez) who believes that this is the perfect score. I mean, who is going to admit they got ripped off while at the strip club? Don’t want anyone’s wives becoming aware of their little forays into the stripper world, no?!
It’s a simple foray actually, get the gentlemen drunk and then charge their credits cards a wee bit more than was the actual charge. No one will find out, surely not … right?
Of course, things don’t go quite as planned, does it ever in these movies? Then again, without that we would have no drama.
Lopez may be the headliner, but all eyes have to be on Wu. The Fresh Off the Boat and Crazy Rich Asians breakout star is having quite a moment and Hustlers should do nothing but enhance that.
