The stunning true story The Report has unveiled its first trailer. The film is from director Scott Z. Burns (The Bourne Ultimatum) and chronicles the real life occurrences that would culminate in the Senate Intelligence Committee’s report on CIA torture. It was led by Dianne Feinstein (Anne Benning) and spearheaded by Adam Driver’s Daniel J. Jones, who was appointed by the lauded Senator to look into to the CIA’s Detection and Interrogation Program.
What he found was explosive and painted the most scandalous of portraits of what the Bush administration was up to in the years following 9/11. To say there was a conspiracy is a gross understatement.
The Report also stars Ted Levine, Jennifer Morrison, Tim Blake Nelson, Linda Powell, Matthew Rhys, T. Ryder Smith, Corey Stoll, Jon Hamm and Maura Tierney. Look for it in theaters on November 15 and will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on November 29.
