Toy Story 4 Super Bowl Trailer: Buzz Gets Buzzed

As the credits rolled on Toy Story 3, the popular consensus was that the world had seen the last of our favorite Pixar toys. When it was announced that the famed animation studio (a subsidiary of Disney) was producing Toy Story 4, besides excitement, attention turned to, “what on earth would the story be?”

A Toy Story 4 teaser landed a few months ago and although entertaining, it did little to feed our desire to know what this fourth chapter in the Oscar winning series would exactly be about. Then, we started reading between the lines and it became a little clearer: This film, amongst other things, would be about those homemade toys and how those fit into the landscape of the store-bought toys.

Now that another teaser has landed, we know there are more new additions to this landscape. The fact that Ducky and Bunny are voiced by Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele has us beyond thrilled.

This teaser finds us at a fair and Buzz Lightyear is a bit delayed, due to the fact that he is literally all tied up… just below Ducky and Bunny—who are doing their best to annoy the heck out of our favorite interstellar toy traveler.

Although it is an adorable spot, it still doesn’t expose us to much in terms of overall plot. But you know what? It doesn’t matter. As long as those two words—Toy Story—are part of the movie moniker, we are front and center when this thing gets released on June 21.

Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Joan Cusack, Don Rickles, Estelle Harris, Wallace Shawn, John Ratzenberger, Jeff Pidgeon, and Blake Clark all star.
