Men in Black International has unveiled its first trailer and it appears to be one heck of a fun ride. Sony Pictures presents what essentially is a reboot of the famed franchise. We prefer to look at it as an expansion of the universe that is the MIB.
Emma Thompson is back as Agent O from Men in Black 3, but that is all that should be similar between this fourth film in the series and the preview three. Well, the black suits, black ties and black shades are the same for that matter. Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson are the stars of this new MIB adventure and it illustrates that what went on in New York City and America was merely the tip of the iceberg. This puppy takes place in London and finds our two MIBs dishing out their unique brand of intergalactic justice.
F. Gary Gray (Straight Outta Compton) knows a thing or two about directing compelling narratives as he takes over the directing duties from Barry Sonnenfeld (who directed the first three chapters). Liam Neeson, you might notice, is part of the cast—portraying what appears to be an old veteran of the MIB who mentors our two stars.
Men in Black International drops June 14, 2019 and also stars Rafe Spall, Kumail Najiani, Rebecca Ferguson and Larry Bourgeois and Liam Neeson.
