Fans of LAIKA Animation Studios, rejoice! The first trailer for Missing Link has arrived and it’s everything one would think a film from the stop-motion animation house should be.
The film features Hugh Jackman as a fearless explorer, who is searching for the… well, Missing Link between beast and man. He finds it in the most unlikely place—the jungle, after receiving a letter from a creature who will call Mr. Link (Zach Galifianakis). Link wants to find his long-lost family members and believes that the explorer can help him achieve such a goal.
The film comes from ParaNorman writer-director Chris Butler, which was an utter delight of a film. If Missing Link has half the charm of Butler’s last endeavor, audiences are in for a treat.
The film also features the vocal talents of Stephen Fry, Zoe Saldana, Timothy Olyphant, Ching Valdes-Aran, David Wailliams, Emma Thompson, Matt Lucas and Amrita Acharia.
