The first Destroyer trailer has arrived, and nothing can prepare you for the transformative brilliance it teases from Nicole Kidman.
The Oscar winning actress, who is likely to be nominated again for this work, portrays a LAPD detective who has a dark shadow hanging over her existence. Her undercover past finds some pretty horrific moments that she would like to forget. Unfortunately for Kidman’s detective, the past comes back to haunt her present and she will do anything to ensure it does not bring her down.
Destroyer is from director Karyn Kusama (The Invitation) and also stars Bradley Whitford, Toby Kebbell, Jade Pettyjohn and Scoot McNairy.
What looks like Kidman’s best work to date (and yes, that is saying something) arrives when Destroyer lands on December 25.
