Halloween Poster: When Laurie Met Michael Myers (Again)

One of our most anticipated movies of the fall is the brand-new Halloween. It comes to us from Blumhouse and if anyone appreciates the horror genre and the groundwork laid by all the classics that came before, it is the house that Jason Blum built.

The horror house has unveiled the latest poster for Halloween and it brilliantly puts its two greatest assets front and center—Jamie Leigh Curtis’ Laurie Strode and her longtime nemesis, Michael Myers.

The film is about to premiere at the TIFF Midnight Madness this Saturday and reactions will pour in—we’re sure—moments after. We cannot wait to hear what critics and long-time appreciators of John Carpenter’s original film think of the latest version that was penned by David Gordon Green and Danny McBride.

Check out the Halloween trailer!

The concept is sublime, this is a Halloween world where Strode has been living with the Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder from the events of four decades prior. It all comes rushing back to her when Michael breaks out of prison. One guess where he’s heading… and she knows it!

Halloween also stars Judy Greer (one of our faves) and opens at the most perfect of times… October 19. Happy Halloween, indeed.
