Gal Gadot took to Twitter to let the world in on the first look at her new and improved (i.e. more modern) supersuit that has Wonder Woman rocking the decade of decadence.
The sequel to the smash hit Wonder Woman has officially been given a moniker as well, 1984, and it firmly tells the world that this film takes place during the titular year. We’ll see if they have any nods to another pop culture icon that shares that title by George Orwell.
Patty Jenkins returns to the director’s chair after triumphantly bringing Wonder Woman back in the first film with its World War I set action. The other headline here is that Kristen Wiig has been tapped to portray one of Wonder Woman’s most notorious villains, The Cheetah.
Chris Pine will return as Steve Trevor (we’ll see how that works, but in the image below released by Warner Bros. he is firmly back in a Members Only jacket, no less.
