As Disney goes through their animated classics catalog and brings them to life in live action, we can not think of a better choice to helm a live action Dumbo than Tim Burton. You’ll agree too once you witness the glory that is the first teaser trailer for Dumbo.
We get a somewhat decent look at the titular elephant who can fly in the teaser below, but this trailer is more about giving us a sense of the world that Burton created as well as introducing his stellar human cast. It is led by Colin Farrell, Michael Keaton (who reunites with Burton years after the pair made Batman), Alan Arkin, Eva Green, Danny DeVito, Finley Hobbins and Nico Parker.
If Dumbo is half as good as Kenneth Branagh’s Cinderella or Jon Favreau’s The Jungle Book, audiences are in for a treat when Dumbo takes off on March 29, 2019.
