Lionsgate’s Summit Entertainment has premiered a terrifically funny The Hitman’s Bodyguard trailer and it only further illustrates how hot Ryan Reynolds is right now.
The Deadpool star is on fire and his jets show no signs of cooling with this look at his latest actioner, co-starring the legendary Samuel L. Jackson.
Jackson is one of the world’s best assassins and he’s in a bit of trouble as he is a key witness in the World Court trial of one of the world’s most notorious dictators (Gary Oldman). Who better to protect him than the man who has tried to kill dozens of times, and clearly failed? Oh, this should work out just right.
The Hitman’s Bodyguard hits theaters on August 18 and also stars Salma Hayek (as Jackson’s equally notorious wife), Elodie Yung, Kristy Mitchell, Richard E. Grant and Joaquim De Almeida.
