The film gives us the ultimate origins story of Diana Prince, who began her life as an Amazon princess, who was trained to be the fiercest of warriors. She is sheltered on an island, learning the ways of battle and survival.
When a World War I pilot (Chris Pine) crash lands on her island, her exposure to the outer world commences.
Seeing as she believes she and her kind were created to bring peace to the world, Wonder Woman sees her role as one that must expand beyond the shores of her island home. She takes off for England and our adventure truly begins.
Wonder Woman stars Gal Gadot as the titular character Pine, Robin Wright, Danny Huston, Connie Nielsen and Lucy Davis. Look for the action to begin on June 2.
