Walt Disney Pictures and Marvel Studios have unveiled the latest trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, one of the most anticipated movies of all of 2017.
The Guardians of the Galaxy sequel features the return of Chris Pratt as Star-Lord, who continues his mission of finding his long lost father… all while saving the galaxy (again) with his pals.
Joining him are Zoe Saldana as Gamora, Dave Bautista as Drax, Vin Diesel, who voices Groot, Bradley Cooper voices Rocket, Michael Rooker joins the team as Yondu and it appears that Karen Gillian’s Nebula finds herself a Guardian as well. Pom Klementieff joins the cast as Mantis. Also adding his name to the list of Galaxy dwellers is the one and only Kurt Russell.
The soundtrack this time around will feature many tunes from a bygone era. As we see in the above teaser, Fleetwood Mac made the Awesome Mixtape #2 track list. If the first Guardians of the Galaxy is any indication, many super awesome tunes will accompany our heroes as they bring their unique brand of justice to the universe.
The written and directed by James Gunn Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 lands in theaters May 5.
