Eight new character posters have landed online from Lucasfilm and Walt Disney Studios for their upcoming Star Wars story.
Hot on the heels of that riveting Rogue One trailer, this set of posters shows off the main eight souls that will certainly be adding to the stellar legacy of souls who inhabit the world created by George Lucas.
The events of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story takes place just before Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. The Empire has built the ultimate weapon, and if the rebels don’t find a way to destroy it, they will never stand a chance against Imperial rule. They must steal the plans for the planet-sized weapon and in the right hands, find a way to destroy it. Rogue One is the heist movie tale of how it all went down. Sounds awesome, right?
Our main eight (showcased in these character posters above) are: Felicity Jones (Inferno, The Theory of Everything) as Jyn Erso, Mads Mikklesen plays her father, Galen Erso. Meanwhile, Diego Luna (Milk) stars as Captain Cassian Andor, Donnie Yen (Ip Man, Blade II) inhabits Chirrut Imwe, Jiang Wen (Let the Bullets Fly, Devils on the Doorstep) stars as Baze Malbus, Alan Tudyk gets the sci-fi role of his life as the droid K-2SO, Riz Ahmed (Nightcrawler, Four Lions) is the Rebel pilot Bodhi Rook, Forest Whitaker (The Last King of Scotland) is Saw Gerrera and Ben Mendelsohn (Bloodline, Mississippi Grind) as the film’s main villain, Orson Krennic.
