The first poster for Furious 8 has been revealed, and it landed via star/producer Vin Diesel on his social media channels.
F. Gary Gray (Straight Outta Compton) is taking the wheel and directing his first time in the blockbuster series after the stellar job that James Wan did with Furious 7.
As Diesel previously announced, Furious 8 will be the first in a trilogy of films that will close out The Fast and the Furious series once and for all. Who would have thought after that first film all those years ago, that we’d be look at a series that would produce 10 adventures!
Look for Furious 8 to race into theaters on April 14, 2017. Also returning will be Jordana Brewster, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Elsa Pataky and Lucas Black. Also expected to come back is Kurt Russell, Jason Statham (Furious 7’s baddie) and Dwayne Johnson. It was also announced that Mad Max: Fury Road’s heroine Charlize Theron will be the main villain in this eighth Fast and Furious flick.
