The “greatest gladiator match in the history of the world” is coming sooner than later, people! The release date for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is inching closer, and to celebrate Warner Bros. and DC Comics have unleashed three new TV spots that has our anticipation level shooting through the roof faster than Superman can toss Batman into his Bat Signal.
Ben Affleck makes his debut as Bruce Wayne and The Dark Knight when Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice lands in theaters in merely weeks. Any concern people had about him tackling either half of that persona was eased when that first Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice trailer landed.
Now, as subsequent teasers have revealed more of the film, and thus more of what Affleck brings to it, we think that the world is eager and excited to see the full length film and see how the Oscar winner follows the job that another Oscar winner (Christian Bale) did with one of our most beloved superheroes.
Henry Cavill reprises his role as Superman in Zack Snyder’s not-so-traditional sequel to Man of Steal. Also back from that film is Diane Lane, Amy Adams and Laurence Fishburne.
Joining the series is Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeffrey Irons as Alfred, Jason Momoa as Aquaman and Holly Hunter
