The leading men of Pride & Prejudice & Zombies — Matt Smith, Jack Huston and Douglas Booth –know a thing or two about the world of classical literature brought to screen.
The three are classically trained British actors who have tackled pitch perfect period prose in period costumes before and each clearly saw the “absolute fun” in appearing in the Jane Austen meets the undead world of Seth Grahame-Smith.
We caught up with Smith, Huston and Booth for an exclusive video interview where the trio talked about taking a moment to reflect amongst the old English countryside and old English manners, and gazing up to see a horde of zombies coming at them.
The stars of the Burr Steers written and directed film also chime in on the circus leader and why Steers was the perfect gentlemen to bring this insanity to life in a brilliant way that captures both Smith’s world and Austen’s landscape.
Stay tuned for our Pride & Prejudice & Zombies review tomorrow, the day the wildly entertaining film opens. And until then, dive into the video above and get to know the cast.
