Ever since that red band Deadpool trailer dropped, the Ryan Reynolds starring Marvel movie from Fox has been high on our list of most anticipated movies of 2016. Between its supremely awesome action and deadpan perfect humor, what’s not to like? Well, that sense of humor is on full display in the “Bachelor” TV spot that premiered last night during the first episode of the ABC smash hit reality series.
Deadpool is the origin story of the most out-there superhero in the Marvel canon. He is foul mouthed, well, and that is just the tip of the iceberg.
Reynolds is Wade Wilson, a Special Forces operative turned mercenary who discovers he has cancer that will take his life sooner than later. With nothing left to lose, he allows himself to become the subject of a rogue experiment and… surprise! He awakes with superpowers. His abilities may be different, but his smart mouth and attitude are more attuned than ever.
T.J. Miller stars as Weasel, along with Gina Carano as Angel Dust, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Morena Baccarin as Copycat and Ed Skrein as Ajax.
Deadpool gets his big screen debut on February 12, 2016.
