Like you, we marveled at that The Jungle Book trailer that showed off why director Jon Favreau was the perfect choice to bring the classic Disney animated movie to life. Rudyard Kipling’s iconic book comes to the big screen, thanks to the Iron Man and Chef director with a voice cast that is beyond impressive, from Ben Kingsley to Idris Elba and Bill Murray. To tease us further, Disney has released a “living” poster that should easily send anticipation higher.
The Jungle Book follows the story of Mowgli (Neel Sethi), a child who has been raised by a pack of wolves in the depths of the African jungle. When the young man finds his presence is no longer warranted in the jungle by the frightening tiger Shere Khan (Elba), Mowgli leaves on a journey that will define him and his life in the jungle.
Scarlett Johansson, Christopher Walken and Star Wars: The Force Awakens star Lupita Nyong’o also star in the film that is set to hit theaters on April 15, 2016.
