The Movie Mensch caught up with the dynamic duo for an exclusive video interview where they described what made their particular rom-com pairing such a slice of heaven. They were clearly both impressed by the whip-smart script turned in by the woman who would also inspire as their director, Leslye Headland.
Sleeping with Other People is in theaters now and it is the first true don’t-miss rom-com of the fall.
Sudeikis and Brie star as a pair of singles who lose their virginity to each other in college and then almost immediately drift apart. They meet in New York City 15 years later and embark on a platonic friendship for the ages. Before long, their friends (and us the audience) know exactly what we are seeing, even if Sudeikis and Brie are blind to it — true love.
