What’s fascinating is the top viewed trailer may not be that much of a surprise, but what came in second has been out for merely days, and therefore — we think by the end of summer 2015 — it may be the top viewed movie trailer of them all. Shocker!
So, without further ado, we present the top five movie trailers of the summer, in terms of YouTube views.
- Ant-Man: 17 Million Views
Marvel’s smallest hero scores its biggest ratings.
- Terminator Genisys: 19.7 Million Views
Guess we like the fact that Arnold is back after all! Even if scores of us didn’t turn out for the movie itself!
- Jurassic World: 27 Million Views
The latest Jurassic Park movie, Jurassic World, has made over $600 million in box office in the U.S. alone. Now, that is the definition of a summer blockbuster.
- Batman v Superman Dawn of Justice: 57 Million Views
Only out since early July, the latest from Warner Bros. and DC Comics is on pace for some record-setting views.
- Star Wars The Force Awakens: 67.8 Million Views
The Force is strong with this J.J. Abrams film, there is no question.
